Not a bad grid, but I think words-within-words should be either all at the start, all at the end, or all in the middle.

Good grid, but I agree with Jericho about hidden words, also you blow up balloons, rather than just blow them, so I think bubbles would be a better fit for the group.

I'm fine with US politicians AND mixing them up at the start, end and middle of words. just makes you work harder :-) Good grid. Snooker group very tough for me but I'm sure not for others
