I think just the last word of a film title doesn't really give you much to go on.

I strongly disagree with the commenter above; the film titles were the first connection I spotted. I mean, we're hardly talking about obscure titles here. But I guess that sort of thing can be very subjective: what feels unfair to one person can seem obvious to someone else.

I thought this was a very nice grid, by the way. An interesting mix of solutions and a couple of clever red herrings.

Oh, and I always appreciate when the solutions are written out clearly, as they are here.
