Do you not get the concept of 'Red Herrings'??
If you think that there should be sixteen words that just need sorting out into their obvious categories then maybe you should find a simpler puzzle to do... a jigsaw springs to mind... some of them have sixteen pieces... maybe try one of them (unless you think some of the pictures on the pieces look quite similar to each other!!).
