Fairly easy to rattle off once the theme was spotted

Animals foot with claws and pads is the dictionary definition of Paw so Iā€™m good with that !!

The 'paws' doesn't work in most accents, and 'clawed animal feet' is dubious. Good fun grid otherwise though. Change hat category and it will be excellent

With regards to paws, as Neil said, that's the abridged dictionary defintion (sans pads). Accent-wise, it works for the majority of the spread of the UK, hence its inclusion.
