Nice one - solved it and got all the connections except the cricket one.

The Bond villains really threw me. So many red herrings.

I'd prefer 16 bond villains :)

It is easy to write hard grids - ,just include items which are really obscure. A good hard grid is one which uses items that someone with good general knowledge should know. After the grid, they should be saying, "ahh, I should have seen that!". They should not be saying, "who the hell is Richie Porte?"

I couldn't agree more with Nighteyes. These are meant to be fun!

To be fair Richie Porte is one of the most well known living Tasmanians! He might not be the most well known cyclist but he is up there, too. Most of Froome's tdf wins would not have happened without him.
