Stranger > Granger requires 2 letters changing to one!

Your explanations for the Harry Potter and Rhyming clues seem wrong to me. Substitute one letter doesn't work for Stranger to Granger and if they were simply misgrouped then even Ranger would require the addition of a letter. Perhaps I'm mistaken but I found it slightly confusing.
