Quite good but Frustrating. First two groups v. easy, but last two impossible. One kids TV show I've never heard of and one I only just remember- I just couldn't sort then out. Also Open isn't a synonym for 'open by force'.

Thanks for the suggestions. Have amended the grid accordingly. Puf and friends is a bit of a cult classic.

Yeah, I don’t know if Puf made it to the UK. I watched Bingo and co a lot but don’t think I could have told you any of their names.

Puf def was a UK show and part of the Sat morning routine in the early 70s. There was also a feature film released as well. If you check it out on YouTube it might jog your memory.

I checked it out as suggested, thinking my memory was failing. I have never seen or heard of it, but it seems it was very popular in the US. Lots of law suits and a young Marty Wilde gone to make it big after Oliver! thank you

Checked it out and it means absolutely nothing to me :) Perhaps it was out a little earlier than the Banana Splits as I remember them fondly.

I do not know about Fam, but I remember The Ringing Singing Tree, the BBC imported from East Germany. La la, la,- tra, la, laa, brilliant. :-)

Having trawled through many references, I have found out that HR Pufnstuff was only broadcast in England on the London Weekend ITV channel. It did not reach the grim north of Yorkshire Television. Therefore I am not losing my memory. I feel better for that.
