This is what is required to complete a really good / fiendish grid on this site, or the television.
This puzzle, and your previous entry #4239, were all compiled from an atlas index.
2 Matrices of 16 containing common items, that needed to be decoded, in the hope of finding something to connect them.

Beginning and ending in the same letter, is just lame and makes your attempts unsolvable and unlikeable.

I hate to pile on the criticism, but all countries was an interesting idea. I was looking at things like new countries (South Sudan, Czech Republic etcetera) and much more interesting connections. 4-letter capitals was the lamest one for me, but the fact that they're all about capitals was annoying and kinda lazy.
