You should be a House of Games question writer, honestly. Seems you'd be good at writing Answer Smash.

Andy P @ #24980: You might enjoy my unofficial 'House of Games' question group on Facebook if you enjoy puzzles like this. It's very similar to the 'Answer Smash' round from the TV show. https://www.facebook.com/groups/305752400278560 (5 hours, 53 minutes ago)
This was posted by AndyP on one of mine- you might be interested?

Cruel! So often I get 3 of these clues but the style means you can’t guess the last one. Satisfying when I do get them though, thanks Lorna :)

As in you get 3 clues but not the group or you get 3 groups?
I do listen to this feedback as I want my grids to be challenging but satisfying.
My aim is to give one "hook" per group to get you started, and a spread of subjects so that if you find one group harder you get the first 3 and have time after to spot the link. Thanks for commenting, I'm still developing styles and gauging difficulty, so constructive feedback really helps!

Grrrrrr I'm really angry because I've never heard of something and it's in a puzzgrid! You're literally at a computer. Ever heard of google?

@Lorna: I can often guess or realise the last answer in a group, once I’ve got the connection. That can’t be done if you need to work out the answer in order to see if it’s part of a group. That’s not a criticism, I enjoy your grids and I’m starting to see some of your tactics!

Feedback very much appreciated! I try to back- chain my answers so that I'm not guilty of mind blindness- you shouldn't have to make too much of a leap- I like people to be able to work out the link from the given information- more satisfying than just knowing/ not knowing- by having paired clues I was hoping that the less obscure one would help with the harder one. Spotting the link in this type of grid is usually a bit of a memory test so it's probably an idea to write stuff down or take a couple of goes! It's good to get feedback to see what works, what's too hard/ frustrating, as I'm trying different styles and approaches. Good luck with the rest!
