Quite a nice grid . I think the answer "religious positions" should be accepted for "Prior etc " group especially as you get deacons outside monasteries. (Also noticed 'formally')

Agree with the others... Prior in a Priory, Abbot in an Abbey. The wording for the earlier group solution didn't accept synonyms!

Agree with the comments below; synonyms should be sufficient on its own; formerly not formally; clerical positions should be accepted. The quick group was clever and beat me.

your answers to 'Synonyms for before' contain an incorrectly spelt word, i.e. 'formally' which means confirming to rules, ceremonial. The word you should have used is 'formerly' which means of the past or an earlier period. I see from the comments below - some from many months ago - that you have not yet corrected your error.
