Scapa flow bit vague for my money - otherwise good

Scapa vague? Nah. Its a major feature of the Orkneys, great for otter watching, and for diving, and was a massive gig in WW1 when the German fleet was sunk.

Forgot cousin Idaho Womble, brilliant red herring.
Good grid.

Idaho was Yellowstone Boston Womble's mate, Firebird; a native american Womble named after the state.

Already well trodden, but internally famous and biggest WWII UK naval base and, if memory serves, also referenced in a Stereo MCs rap. The first group I got, scapa being the first and main indicator. Vague indeed....

To be pedantic (!) Orkney, or the Orkney Islands - never ( in the UK) the Orkneys.

My apologies.
The Orkney Islands, home of Highland Park, my favourite whiskey.
