Simple but fun. Only qualms;

Sag and swot, never heard of either as acronyms. Googling gives me a few technical and VERY uncommon acronyms, Support And Gear and Stengths Weaknesses Opportunities and Threats. Are these what you mean? I've never heard of either. Neither have they integrated as common nouns, where scuba and sonar have.

@Fridge I was aiming at the Screen Actors Guild, thinking that the SAG awards may have popularized the acronym. It may not have popularized as a noun, but it does look like an existing one. As far as SWOT goes, I must admit that was a mistake. I thought I had put SWAT, the American law enforcement unit. I don't suppose I coud change it now?

Fun and quite easy - I also wondered if SWOT was meant to be SWAT. SAG was OK

A minor point but Kin is already plural - KIns is not a word

Mister Tom
I know what you meant with Swot, but... nice but straightforward if not for that

SWOT stands for Surface Water Ocean Topography, a proposed NASA mission (so Wikipedia says, anyway).

Please put in other correct answers in this, that let’s us describe what a ’homophones’ or ’palindromes’ is. We know the answer, just not the fancy terms of all of them.
Thanks!

3 nice linguistics lines but acronyms a disaaaster darling. SAG possible in capitals. Swot is either a spelling mistake or ridiculously hard.

To be fair, even though it was an error, SWOT with the 'O' is a pretty common acronym in risk analysis, (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Capitalisation, particularly if it was this group alone, would have given it away.
Decent grid that caused a fight, lovely jublee!
