redkite, Designing Women was an American TV sitcom, reasonably popular in its day (1986-1993). However, its cast had five core characters, and of the names in this grid, only Bouvier is one of them. The other three names in this grid belong to secondary recurring characters, like B. J. Poteet, who appeared in 22 of the 163 episodes. Even to someone who watched the series (24 years ago), this set of secondary names would be obscure.
