No more trivial than the masses of grids on here featuring sports teams or TV shows in their links. Also, they're the kind of link that could conceivably feature on an actual episode of Only Connect.
I liked this grid. It was enjoyable and the Victoria group was clever. Sometimes trivial is good when you're playing a game as form of easy escapism after a hard day.
